The company says, in order to facilitate secure and spam-free communication to its users, it has built an invitation-based mechanism for the Group Chat. By doing so, users get to the freedom to either ‘accept’ or ‘decline’ an invitation for a group chat. In case they decline the invitation, the feature ensures that not even the group admin can directly add them to the group. Furthermore, to offer privacy to its users, the feature hides the contact number of users in the group, unless, they have the other user’s contact number saved on their device, or they request them to see their contact number. How to Create and Invite Users to Truecaller Group Chat
Open Truecaller and head to the messaging tab. Tap on ‘Create group chat’ and add a group name, picture, and participants. From the three-dot menu on the right, select ‘Add participants to chat’ to send an invite.
Once an invite is sent, and the other user accepts it, you can then start communicating. Additionally, you can also share media like photos and videos in your conversations.
